Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas! We hope everyone has had an excellent 2015 so far and ends it on a high note! Please keep reading for our Restaurant Holiday hours and shipping deadline dates for this holiday season.
Fat Mama’s Tamales Holiday schedule will be:
November 25, 2015 (Day before Thanksgiving) – Open from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm
November 26, 2015 (Thanksgiving Day ) – Closed
November 27, 2015 (Black Friday) – Open from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm
December 24, 2015 (Christmas Eve) – Open from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
December 25, 2015 (Christmas Day) – Closed
December 26, 2015 – Open from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm
December 31, 2015 (New Years Eve) – Open from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm
January 1, 2016 (New Year’s Day) – Open from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm
Additionally, the deadline to ship our “World Famous” Tamales so they are received in time for Christmas will be December 15, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Any orders received for our tamales after December 15, 2015 at 12:00 pm, can not be guaranteed for delivery prior to Christmas without expedited shipping and is subject to to United Parcel Service terms.

The Mississippi Market is days away and if you are in or around Jackson, MS, you should head down to the Trademart for the show! Buyers are required to show their credentials before entering, so make sure you have what you need as this is a wholesale order only show!
The Mississippi Market features Mississippi based sellers, in addition to Fat Mama’s Tamales, there will be jewelry, pottery, children’s gifts, decorative accessories, candles, dinnerware, art, prints, garden accessories, gifts, linens, personal accessories, specialty furniture, specialty apparel, store supplies & gourmet food, just to name a few! Parking is free, there will be over 200 seller booths and over 900 buyers on site over a 2 day period!
Fat Mama’s Tamales is also planning on offering our newest product to the market! So be sure to stop by our booth, in the Natchez Pavilion and check it out!

Let’s Put Natchez, Mississippi on the Today Show!

Melissa, our wholesale manager brought to my attention an upcoming project between Sorted Food and the Today Show. They are teaming up to bring the guys from Sorted Food from across the pond to the States to learn & discover about “American” cuisine.
They will be checking in with the Today Show hosts weekly to report what they ate, where they have been and what they have been up too. The best part is they are looking for suggestions, recommendations and ideas from anyone and everyone.
You can use the hashtag “#LostAndHungry” across all social media to let them know your thoughts! The more recommendations and suggestions they get, the more likely they will be to visit Natchez!
