Fat Mama’s Tamales Restaurant
Take a look at what people are saying about Fat Mama’s Tamales
Loved sitting on patio drinking margaritas
Great place! Will definitely be back!
Was a great experience with some great food. You could just feel the history and local atmosphere !!!!
Was treated to lunch today by a sweet cajun boss man- what a neat place!
Enjoyed the food- service was good- only regret was it was lunch time, so no margarita lol. Definitely will be stopping by “after” work when in the area.
The best margaritas ever!!!!
Loved it, gotta go back soon. Loved the frozen margaritas
Everything was amazing
Never a disappointment!
Hands down on the Natchez Nachos!!
They were VERY GOOD!!! The margarita was delicious!
Stopped in while sightseeing
Food very good and atmosphere fun. We had tamales, taco soup, and Gringo pie. Plus two margaritas. We both enjoyed the food.
Had the gringo pie and was very good!
Neat casual restaurant and loved all the vibrant colors.
Love this place
Best soup around!!!! And Mexican cornbread.
And I will tag you on my Pickle Review blog!
I have been eating at Fat Mama’s Tamales for years…
Since they were in the old location on the hill. Food has always been good, Fire and Ice pickles good and Knock You Naked margaritas good. Always enjoy! I am not sure why there have been posts talking about price since a dozen tamales are only $10. I paid $16 a dozen last week in Gulfport. My only regret is the last few times I have been there is for lunch and have not had the time to hang for a while and really enjoy the place and the people.
My vote is great food, price and atmosphere in the evening on the patio. Do yourself and give it a try.
Love the atmosphere and service.
Food is great and the Knock You Naked Margarita was even better!!!
Always a stop when we’re in town.
Always good food!
Was turned on to this place about 10 years ago!
EVERYTHING they serve is outstanding! A real funky and fun spot! Drop in and see them – you’ll be glad you did, and get there early! I highly recommend it!
We had the “Gringo Pie” and, of course, a margarita. Sooooo good. A shame we have to leave tomorrow!
Visited yesterday and was delicious.
Friendly staff, creative menu and good food. I’ll be back in a few weeks.
This place has amazing margaritas and the tamales so worth it.
Food was great as always.
Service was top notch. Will stop by the next time I’m in town.
