Fat Mama’s Tamales is pleased to announce that we are making some significant adjustments to our world famous hot tamales
We have made every effort to keep our tamale prices low for the duration of the pandemic and provide our customers with reasonably priced tamales. As a result of the steadily increasing costs, these adjustments will ensure our tamales remain true to the Fat Mama’s Tamales original recipe you have grown up with and continue to provide our customers with the highest quality tamale possible.
- We are increasing our tamale size approximately 33%.
- We are increasing the pork and beef ratio to masa, making a more hearty and flavorful tamale.
- We are sourcing higher quality raw ingredients including improved protein cuts like Boston butt, red pepper, cornmeal, and other seasonings.
- We are streamlining our internal production and cooking process to allow us to offer a higher quality tamale, using the original Fat Mama’s Tamales recipe.
